Connecting Patreon

If you run a Patreon, you can let your patrons claim your Dungeonstock products for free, as a perk for backing you. We call these patron unlocks.

Set up patron unlocks

Open Patreon in your dashboard menu, under Grow. If it isn't there, patron unlocks aren't open to creators yet.

1. Click Connect Patreon and sign in to Patreon. We read your campaign name and pledge tiers. We never see your patron list, their emails or any payment details.
2. Choose the qualifying tier. Patrons at that tier or higher can claim your products.
3. Choose which products to include. Every paid product is in by default. Switch off any you want to keep paid-only.
4. On Review & go live, check the summary and click Turn on patron unlocks. It's live straight away.

To change things later, use Change tier or Edit included products on the same page.

Invite your patrons

The Invite your patrons card has one link, dungeonstock.com/unlock/your-slug, and every patron uses the same one. Click Copy link to share it, or Copy image to grab its QR code for a post or a printout.

What your patrons see

The link asks them to sign in to Dungeonstock (or create an account) and connect their own Patreon. From then on, each included product's page shows Free with Patreon and a Claim & download button in place of the price. We check their pledge with Patreon each time they claim, and claimed products land in their Library marked Patreon Access.

What you earn from claims

Nothing on Dungeonstock. A product a patron claims earns you $0, because their pledge on Patreon is what pays you.

If a pledge lapses

If a patron cancels or drops below your qualifying tier, they lose access to what they claimed until they pledge at that level again. A failed card payment doesn't count: Patreon retries for about two weeks, and their access stays on while it does. Files they've already downloaded can't be taken back.

If you click Disconnect Patreon, your patrons lose the free access they claimed.
