Using Gold

Gold (gp) is Dungeonstock's in-app currency. Buy it once, then spend it on products without reaching for your card every time.

Buy a Gold Pack

Open the menu under your profile picture and choose Buy Gold. You can also use Gold in the footer, or click your gp balance in the header once you have some. Under Choose a Gold pack, pick one:

• 5 gp: $4.99
• 10 gp: $8.99
• 25 gp: $19.99
• 50 gp: $34.99
• 100 gp: $59.99

Pay with your card and the Gold usually lands in your balance within seconds. If you see "Payment is processing", it'll appear as soon as the payment clears.

Spend Gold on a product

A product costs 1 gp for every $1 of its price, rounded up, so a $12 product is 12 gp. A creator's coupon lowers the gp price as well as the cash price.

1. On the product page, click Buy with Ngp. It shows when your balance covers the price.
2. Click Confirm Purchase.

The product goes into your Library like any other purchase. You can do the same from your cart with Buy with Ngp and Confirm purchase.

If you subscribe and don't have quite enough, you'll see Top up & buy instead. It takes you to the Gold page, then back to the product once you've bought a pack.

Your Gold history

Every time Gold is added to or spent from your balance, it's listed on your Gold transaction history page, with the date, the amount and your balance afterwards. It's the place to check where a subscription top-up went or what a product cost you. You'll find a link to it under Current balance on the Gold page (View transaction history).

Worth knowing

• A subscription adds Gold every time it renews: 15 gp a month on Basic and 30 gp on Pro, or 180 gp and 360 gp up front on an annual plan.
• Gold doesn't expire, even if you cancel your subscription.
• Gold stays in the account that bought it. You can't send it to someone else.
• Spent Gold isn't refundable, except where the law says otherwise, so spend it when you're sure it's the one.
